Formal education does not offer soft skills in the curriculum. We would like an alternative solution to students and young professionals who would like to develop skills such as public speaking, emotional intelligence, leadership, and apply them in their career and lives. We do this by offering a platform which brings educators (corporate trainers, professors, HR, etc.) and learners (college students, career starters) together. Through highly experiential skills workshops in a fun and welcoming environment, participants challenge themselves to exit their comfort zone, create relationships and learn new and practical skills.
Our solution addresses two global issues. Firstly, hard skills are being replaced by AI and people without soft skills will lose their jobs because of automation. Corporate training, the main industry providing soft skills training, is expensive and not accessible for students. Secondly, there is no existing time/cost efficient way to identify talent with 21st century skills for employers. We first focus on a B2C model, with learners covering the costs of the training. We expect target users to be college studentsyoung professionals (2-3 years after graduation) who are interested in working/studying abroad, exploring different cultures and travelling.
