创新创业方向课程是清华MBA的方向课程系列之一,面向富有创业激情,以创业为个人事业方向的学生。清华MBA群体中,有非常浓郁的创业学习和实践氛围,创业中的和今后打算创业的清华MBA学生可以通过这些课程的学习不仅获得认知与能力的提高,而且收获了讲授创业课程的教师、参与项目指导的创业导师、学长和同学的帮助与人际网络。课程学习与课外学习结合充分,班级、小组和个人之间的交流形式多样,这些都构成了创业者成长的丰富土壤。

    This is an entrepreneurial age. Entrepreneurship has been recognized as a vital force that is driving a revolution, which has been transforming and renewing conomies, technologies and societies globally, since the late 1980s. Technological breakthroughs and innovations are increasingly coming from entrepreneurial firms around the global. Because of rapid changes in technology, communications, and capital markets, today's technology startups are building successful companies in emerging markets, and even in environments often dismissed as impossibly hostile to entrepreneurs. This course introduces the fundamentals of managing entrepreneurship and innovation in the context of the interconnected business environment of the 21th century. This course is intended to provide students with tools for identifying and evaluating new venture opportunities, as well as learning frameworks in devising entrepreneurial and innovative strategies to create and nurture high-growth new ventures.

The course combines lectures, case analyses, debates and student presentations. The readings are drawn from research in the management of technological innovation and technologybased entrepreneurship as well as from economics and organizational theory. The cases provide an extensive opportunity to integrate and apply these tools in a practical, business context, and draw from a wide variety of firms and industries: established and entrepreneurial, mainly from high technology.

    教学目标:    1)创业是一种管理风格。创业是在缺乏资源的情况下追逐机会的活动。本课程旨
                             在影响你的管理和领导风格、能力,并且使你了解和尽可能把握创业机会、组
                             织创业资源、管理企业成长和获得创业回报,把创办或者管理新企业当作一种
                             思路、方法和可以培养的能力。
                         2)开发一个具有现实性的商业计划。为此,在教学上力图实现两个基本目标 : 
                         a.  学会开发一个商业(创业)计划书。能看到市场机会不能保证创业成功。好的
                              创业计划首先既要有清晰的竞争优势,还要有有效的商业模型。其次,要把营
                              销、销售、技术、生产、人员、组织和财务方面综合地纳入商业计划之中。此
                              外,商业计划需要对风险进行全面和详细的分析,包括各种可能的情况。所有
                              这些要点构成了一个商业计划的基础。创业者的商业计划是其获得他人意见、
                              资源和进行协议谈判等工作时的关键参考文件。 
                         b.  通过开发商业计划,获得创办和管理新企业的管理技能。商业计划一般有两个
                              作用,一是用于指导创业企业在创业初期的各项经营和管理活动;二是用于从
                              其他创业相关者处获取资源,尤其是资金的指南。对于创业者而言,前者是为
                              了认识自我和指导他人,发现价值和挖掘企业价值;后者则为了向利益相关者
                              解释价值和交换价值。获得创办和管理新企业的技能,是指在开发商业计划的
                              过程中,总是在不断解决遇到的问题,并由此提高处理管理问题的能力。

    教学目标:    活跃的创业活动是经济发展的巨大动力。改革开放大大释放了中国人的创业精神,
                        这是过去30年来中国经济能够持续高速发展的关键原因,也是中国经济能否继续保
                        持良好发展态势的决定性因素之一。清华大学中国创业研究中心完成的《全球创业
                        观察中国报告》(清华大学出版社,2003, 2004, 2006, 2008)的研究结果表明,
                        中国的创业活动在全球中处于活跃状态,并且正处于从生存型创业向机会型创业
                        转变的时期;中国的创业机会多,国民的创业动机比较强,但创业能力不足,亟
                        需通过创业教育和实践智慧的积累提高创业能力。
    课程描述:    本课程为那些希望创业、或者参与创业企业、或者希望从事创业管理活动的MBA
                        同学开设,其目标是:通过讲课,帮助学生初步掌握创业管理的基本原理和技能;
                        通过案例分析、嘉宾点评,提高同学的创业分析能力;邀请创业企业家和创业投
                        资家讲座交流(含课内讲座和课外交流两种方式),扩大同学的视野,帮助同学

    教学目标:    创业投资本课程的目的是为那些有志进入创业投资业和从事创业投资型的投资管

    课程描述:    1)创业资本产业分析,说明创业投资的基本结构和变化。
                        2)创业资本的组织和融资,重点说明创业投资公司的运行机制;创业资本业中

    课程描述:    The course of Innovation – IP – Corporate Strategy is developed by Prof.
                         Ian Harvey, the ex-chairman of the Intellectual Property Institute, London.
                         The objectives of the course is to give business students studying at TSEM
                         a basic understanding of the different forms of Intellectual Property Rights
                         (IPRs) and how they are used by different businesses to encourage and
                         protect innovation. It will teach the basic principles of IP. It will also
                         illustrate, through examples and case histories, how IPRs can be an
                         important element of company strategy. It will also aim to stimulate real
                         interest and excitement in IPRs and provide the basic tools for them to
                         interact intelligently with their IP professionals.

                         The course will comprise eight, one and a half hour, weekly lectures.
                         Teaching will be:
                         1) through business examples which demonstrate success or failure in  
                             the use of IPRs; and,
                         2) how they relate to company strategy; and,
                         3) direct teaching of the principles of IP law and process.

     教学目标:    The course will aim to provide a basic understanding, vocabulary and
                         understanding of IPRs so that students can work effectively with their IP
                         professionals in their future business career. The course itself will not
                         aim to provide a high level of competence in the professional details or
                         complexities of IPRs. Rather, it will aim to show that IP is interesting
                         and essential for many businesses. It will also aim to leave students with
                         an interest in learning more about IPRs from the professionals in the
                         companies where they will work.

                         The course aims to provide:
                         1) A basic understanding of the following elements of formal IPRs: 
                             copyright; patents; trademarks and brands; and, designs.
                         2) An understanding of the domestic and international aspects of IPRs,
                             how they are used and their strengths and limitations.
                         3) It will cover the use of IPRs in the health care, ICT, branded goods
                             and software industries.
                         4) Teaching of the course will be in English. There will be a final graded
                             test for students based on a case study.

                        interconnected than ever. Consumers, firms, media, regulators, investors, and
                        NOGs are becoming increasingly interdependent on each other. Interactions 
                        among various stakeholders are playing a critical role in shaping the market 
                        landscape. The course introduces a social interaction strategic framework to 
                        help companies to manage business innovations to build and sustain their 
                        competitive advantage. We will use this framework to analyze bot the business 
                        model innovations in emerging sectors (e.g., Web 2.0, social media, mobile 
                        internet) and corporate business innovations in traditional sectors (e.g., 
                        consumer package goods, airline, automobile, banking, game).
     教学目标:   The objective of this course is to help students develop a cutting edge 
                         theoretical framework to anticipate and prepare for the trends that, while 
                         novel and less unexplored today, will be mainstream in the next decade.
                         The career focus of students of this course is likely to include students 
                         planning entrepreneurial ventures and students whose careers as managers,
                         investors, or consultants will focus on business innovations.

    课程描述:    The purpose of the course is to enable the students to understand the real
                        technology driven business innovation practices through the sessions of the
                        invited speakers from the renowned leading companies and government
                        associations. For this semester, the course will start by introducing the
                        importance of technology in business innovation process, using BT-one
                        of the biggest Information and Communication Technology companies- 
                        as the example. BT's internal approach to research and innovation will be 
                        introduced, moreover, how BT establish its research ecosystem through 
                        collaborating with universities,industries and start-ups and its practices
                        on identifying and developing new services and technology innovations. 
                        There will be the comparison among different innovation strategies 
                        deployed by Chinese and International companies. Besides the general 
                        knowledge of innovation, there will be sessions explaining how advanced 
                        ICT technologies continuously transform different industries, e.g.financial
                        service industries, the consumer packaged good industries, etc. This course
                        will also introduce the role of Intellectual Property in the world of innovation
                        and technology and how international MNCs maintain their  technology/
                        business leading edge by effectively generating and protecting  their IPRs. 
                        This course will also introduce the future view of industrial innovation
                        from the angle of UK government and the future of industrial research
