清华x-lab知识产权中心本期邀请到张涛博士与大家分享她在知识产权领域的丰富经验，她将现身说法，和大家交流如何借助国际发明家团队打造高品质专利组合。
现如今，创业者必须面对的是市场的全球化以及创业路上的各种挑战，从而努力去建立起一个有强大知识产权基础的伟大公司。其中每位创业者会面对的挑战之一是，在特定条件下，比如时间、财力、地域覆盖、升温的全球竞争等的约束，以实现高品质发展。张博士此次将针对该问题展开深入探讨。请大家为自己的未来做好准备，把握好手中的利剑，让技术创业者把业务范围提升到新的高峰！

【嘉宾简介】
张涛博士原美国惠普公司总部知识产权授权部主任，主管公司全球知识产权战略和知识产权转让。早年毕业于北京大学物理系，后在美国惠普公司工作23年，拥有斯坦福大学物理学博士和法律博士学位，持有美国加州律师执照以及美国专利商标局专利律师执照。
不仅在国际知识产权交易和经营方面，而且在知识产权法律事务和知识产权科技研发方面都具有长期的经验和卓越的成就。在知识产权经营方面，曾领导一支30名专家团队，多次主持完成惠普公司重大购并案中知识产权的重组工作，领导公司各项知识产权的出售谈判，首创或协助制定、实施了一系列知识产权战略规划，如知识产权资产管理，文件差异分析，专利分类，权利表开发，证据包准备，知识产权交易尽职调查，专利声明，技术转让，专利销售，专利交叉许可，专利分析工具开发，协议追踪系统，捆绑软件许可，战略联盟谈判等等；在法律事务方面，开创性制定了惠普公司各项知识产权交易合同范本和条款标准，并主持起草了各种重大知识产权交易合同，还在多起国际知识产权争议中成功维护了公司法律权益；在科技研发方面，自身拥有多项技术专利，还多次组织科技专家开展研发计划和组建研发工作组，完成有关专利权利表。
在知识产权领域受到美国和国际同行的广泛尊重，多次受邀在各种知识产权交易和技术转让国际会议上发表演讲。曾重点指导惠普亚太知识产权授权工作，在该地区与业界有广泛联系，应台湾、香港、韩国等地政府邀请多次做专题讲座。

The x-lab Intellectual Property Center is pleased to invite Ms. Zhang Tao Ph.D. to share her vast experience and talk about building a high quality patent portfolio with international teams of inventors.
Entrepreneurs today must face a global marketplace and must face various challenges on the road to build a strong company with a strong intellectual property basis. One of the issues facing each entrepreneur and company is the ability to achieve high quality results under certain constraints – time, money, territorial coverage, increased global competition, etc.
Dr. Zhang will discuss this and more. Prepare yourselves for the future and come acquire the tools that will allow technology entrepreneurs to take their business to the next level.
Dr. Zhang Tao is a well-respected intellectual property strategist and business executive, and is currently the Director of IP Licensing at Hewlett-Packard. She is experienced in patent portfolio analysis, patent asset management and sale, technology licensing and other IP transactions. Dr. Zhang has been with HP for over 25 years, serving in a multitude of roles throughout her career. She is a licensed patent and intellectual property attorney, and holds a Ph.D. in physics from Stanford University. She is also the co-author of four US patents and is a frequent key-note speaker at IP commercialization and technology transfer conferences.
